Hoots, Howls, and Hollers 03/02/2009

Wow! I am finding it hard to believe that it is already March. This turn of events means it is time for me to remind you of a few important things.

Don’t forget to vote for Liberty Wildlife in the Channel 8 Be More Awards. It is an easy thing to do and takes only a second or two. Go to www.azpbs.org/bemore and scroll down until you find Liberty Wildlife (it’s alphabetical), and vote for us as your favorite non profit organization. We are very appreciative and of course very deserving.

Don’t forget to register for the March 7^th Born 2B Wild Motorcycle Rally if you ride a motorcycle or as in my case, a scooter. This year’s puzzle run should be a hoot and other activities like auctions, educational ambassadors and the release of a rehabilitated bird of prey will make you howl and holler!

Don’t forget that our virtual baby shower started March 1^st. You don’t have to get dressed up for it; you don’t have to go to the mall to shop; you don’t have to wrap the present; you don’t have to play silly games (Oops, I probably shouldn’t have said that.). But, you do get a gift for not going anywhere and for supporting an orphan native baby. All you have to do is go to the http://www.libertywildlife.net/ and check out the gift register; fill your shopping cart with baby necessities, and pay the bill on our secure web site. The orphans and the staff and volunteers will be forever grateful. You might also take the opportunity to make the big leap and volunteer!
