On Sunday a group of Liberty Wildlife staff and volunteers joined in the Susan G. Komen 5K Race for the Cure. We walked in support of some members of our group who have been or are dealing with breast cancer. We were walking in support of other family and friends who have fought the battle in the past. And, we were walking to support another non-profit organization that is very impactful locally and globally.
As I write this it is Columbus Day. Let’s each of be explorers in our own right and look out into our community or farther to see what wrongs we can singly or collectively work to right. You have a big part to play. Whatever your passion is (and you can have many) can always use your energy. Get involved and make a difference.
